Brow Lamination

Brow lamination is the latest brow trend!! It is a 3-step process that allows us to reset the hairs direction to be more flexible in texture, making it easier to style the brows into different shapes. 

We use the length of the brow hairs and change its position to create a fuller, thicker more textured brow. We finish the treatment with a wax and tint. Brow lamination can be performed every 4-8 weeks.

Precise Brows - What To Expect

The Precise Brows treatment is a unique and highly advanced seven-step process to the perfect eyebrows, performed by the highly experienced and skilled brow technicians at Makeover Palace Hair & Beauty Salon in Kidlington, Oxford.

Step 1 – Patch Testing & Preparation
Before every Precise Brows treatment, we require that you have a patch test a minimum of 48 hours prior. Your body can develop an allergy to any product at any time, regardless of whether you've had a reaction in the past. If no reactions have occurred you will be able to have the treatment. 

Step 2 – Consultation & Design

Consultation is an essential part of your Precise Brows treatment. We need to check there is nothing that can affect the treatment or prevent the treatment from being performed. During your consultation , your Makeover Palace brow expert will consider your hair growth, look, colouring and face shape when deciding on your brow design, as well as the final look that you envision!

Step 3 – Tinting

A custom-blended tint is applied to colour your brow hairs as well as pick up the colour of any fine, fluffy hairs. These hairs can be incorporated into the new design shape of the brows, giving you the appearance of fuller brows & helping to create a shape that you probably didn’t even know was possible. By doing this, we can reduce the need for eyebrow make up, which will save you time and money!

It is important to note that tinting doesn’t have to make the brows darker. The current colour of the brows can be matched up so it only picks up any hairs that are lighter than the current brow colour. 

Step 4 – Waxing 
Next, the shape of the brow that we have designed is created using wax. We use a combination of hair removal methods as well as the wax to create long-lasting, defined results.

Step 5 –  Threading
Following the waxing, threading is used to blend away any wax lines, which ensures smooth makeup application and to make your new brows look more striking.

Step 6 – Tweezing
Any remaining hairs are now tweezed away for a super clean finish. If necessary, any long brow hairs are trimmed so they fall in line with your new brow shape. 

Step 7 - Make up application

Finally, makeup is applied to any sparse areas to fill out the eyebrows and give an indication of how they will look when new hair grows in*

What Happens After My Precise Brow Appointment?

It is essential that you follow the aftercare advice given by your Makeover Palace brow expert. You will be givin a list of do's and don'ts for the first few days following treatment. Your Makeover Palace brow specialist may give you product and styling advice to help you achieve beautiful brows at home.

Can I Have My Brows Waxed Into Shape?

You will be asked to pay a non refundable 50% booking confirmation fee to secure an appointment at our Kidlington hair and beauty salon. The booking fee can be carried over to another appointment if at least 48 hours notice prior to your appointment is given.

Alternatively, if we receive less than 48 hours to cancel or reschedule your appointment or, in the case of a no show, this will result in the booking fee being forfeit.
