Meet the Team

Emily started working at the salon, when it was still Ubuntu, in January 2016. In 2017 Emily was promoted to the salon manager and in April 2020 became the new owner!

Emily says

"It has always been my dream to own a salon. I started my qualifications in nail technology in 2007, shortly followed by other beauty treatments and hair qualification. I am always keen to learn new skills and treatments to offer to my clients. I enjoy meeting new people, working as a team and getting to know my clients. I like to make my clients feel cared for and good about themselves with the time I spend with them."

Sara is our resident Lash and Brow expert and aesthetics practitioner at Makeover Palace.

Sara trained to be a beauty therapist after leaving school and returned to beauty following a career break to Makeover Palace.

Sara says "I decided to try something else but came back to what I enjoy doing most, this is when I started working at the Makeover palace – here I undertook my qualifications in Lashes and Brows, which are the 2 treatments I specialise in".

Sara has a young daughter and most of her free time is spent with her, watching her grow and learn. When not looking after her daughter or her clients, Sara loves seeing friends, going for dinner (with cocktails) and shopping.

In 2014 Diane began her training in Beaconsfield before moving to an independent salon in the centre of High Wycombe earning her level 2, level 3, and also a teaching qualification in hairdressing.

Diane moved to Oxfordshire from Buckinghamshire with her partner for his work, and after a small amount of time away from the professional industry she is back doing what she loves. She enjoys doing restyles and funky, colourful transformations, something to enhance your style!

Diane sees hair as a tool for helping you look how you feel, beautiful! When Diane is not at work, she is enjoying time with her partner and their dog. Together they love the outdoors, walking, cycling, and even motorbike riding!

Meet our fabulous Makeover Palace Stylist, Liv. 

I started my Hairdressing career straight from school in 2019.

I completed my Level 1 in Hair and Beauty, I then decided my preferred career was Hairdressing.

Since working at Makeover Palace, I have achieved so much in becoming a fully qualified Hairdresser.

I have now began to extend my career by specialising in hair extensions (tape ins, nano/micro beads).

Whilst working here, I have qualified in spray tans and put my beauty qualifications to use by offering gel manicures/pedicures, BIAB and nail extensions.

I love to provide satisfaction to my clients allowing them to feel beautiful and better than ever.

Meet our newest Makeover Palace team member, Lilly.

I started my hairdressing career in 2018 when I worked as a Saturday assistant. I have qualified in level 2 and 3 hairdressing, level 3 helped me perfect my skills in balayage, colour correction, creative colour and hair cuts I have gained more confidence. I joined the Makeover Palace team in 2021, since then I have gained more qualifications in hair extensions, eyelashes extensions, lash lifts and eyebrows. I love being part of the Makeover Palace team it’s such a friendly atmosphere and always being pushed and motivated to achieve more.

Hairdressing was always my dream job. Cuts, colours, blow-dry’s, and even lashes you name it. I LOVE IT!. I love a big transformation and leaving my client with a huge smile is a massive reward. I absolutely love being a lash technician, I love learning new skills by our senior lash tech Sara. In my own time I like to socialise with my friends and going on holidays, I also love spending time with my niece and nephews.
